FAQ

FAQ

People Also Ask:

Q: What does the Deluxe add over the standard 12-inch floor stand?

A: A detachable napkin holder and a waste basket, both mounted on the unit itself. Everything else is shared with the standard floor stand: the same 12-inch display area, the same adjustable height up to 38 inches, the same food-safe ABS and acrylic construction, the same included ice pack. So the question is not really about the display. It is about whether you want napkins and trash handled by the stand or handled by the counter next to it.

Q: Is the Deluxe worth the difference?

A: It is worth it wherever the display stands on its own, away from a counter. In an aisle, an entrance or a trade show booth there is nowhere to put napkins and nowhere for customers to drop used cups. Without those two things a self-serve display generates litter, and staff spend the shift tidying instead of selling. If your unit lives beside a counter that already has both, the standard floor stand does the same job for less.

Q: How tall does it stand?

A: Up to 38 inches from the floor, and the pole is adjustable below that. That height puts the display at about the level of an adult's hands, which is where self-serve works best. Lower it if you are sampling to a seated area or if children are a target for the product. Set the height before the shift, not during it, because adjusting a loaded dome means unloading it first.

Q: How long does the ice pack stay frozen?

A: The reusable ice pack stays frozen for up to six hours. The 12-inch Deluxe includes one pack. That is a specification for the pack, not a guarantee for the food. Product type, ambient temperature and how often customers lift the dome all shorten it. Plan a shift around the six hours and set discard times against your own food safety requirements. A spare pack in the freezer is the practical fix for all-day sampling.

Q: What is the display area?

A: Twelve inches in diameter. That is the tray, not the footprint. The base is wider, and you should allow for it when you decide where the unit stands in an aisle. The 16-inch Deluxe is the same product in a larger format, and it includes two ice packs rather than one, which is the more meaningful difference for long sampling days.

Q: Does it need tools to assemble?

A: No. The dome snaps onto the ice bowl, the pole friction fits into the bowl, and the pole threads into the base. One person can assemble it, and the same is true of breaking it down. Nothing is glued and nothing is permanent. That matters more than it sounds for a floor unit, because floor units get moved. A stand that needs a toolbox to relocate ends up staying where it is.

Q: How do I keep it clean through a shift?

A: Wipe and sanitize the acrylic dome and the ABS bowl between product changes. The surfaces are smooth with no fabric or trapped seams, so a cloth reaches everything that touches food. The napkin holder and waste basket detach, which is the point of them being detachable. Nothing in the manufacturer's material says these parts are dishwasher safe. Wash them by hand.

Q: Can I put signage or pricing on it?

A: Yes. An adhesive sign holder is included and fits to the raised handle section of the dome. That places the card above the product, where a customer is already looking, instead of flat on a table where it competes with everything else around it. Keep the card short. A sampling sign has about two seconds to work.

Q: What if the dome or the tray gets damaged?

A: They are sold individually, along with the ice bowl, so a damaged part does not retire the unit. The dome takes the most wear because customers handle it. The current 12-inch dome snaps onto redesigned hinges with no glued joints, so replacing it is a two-minute job on site. Poles, bases, napkin holders, sign holders and spare ice packs are also available separately.

Q: Where does a Deluxe unit earn its place?

A: Grocery aisles, bakery floors, hotel lobbies, catering setups, buffets and trade show booths. The pattern is self-serve sampling with no counter to lean on. That is exactly the case where a stand carrying its own napkins and waste disposal stops being a nice extra and starts being the reason the display can stand there at all. If the display always sits on a counter, buy the countertop unit instead and spend the difference on stock.
