Q: Which sheets fit this holder?
A: Sheets from 32.5 x 53cm up to 40 x 60cm, which are the larger sizes in the range.
Q: How do I know if this is the one I need?
A: Look at your board. If you have a Series 270 at 32.5 x 53 or 40 x 60, your sheets are these sizes and this is the holder that matches.
Q: What is the difference between this and the small one?
A: Only the sheets it takes. The small holder is for 30 x 50cm sheets. Neither adjusts, so the size question has to be settled before you order.
Q: What if I have the 30 x 40 or 24 x 34 sheets?
A: There is no holder specified for those two sizes. Profboard make three holders and none of them covers them, so please check with us rather than assuming one will fit.
Q: Why store sheets upright?
A: Stacked sheets trap water between them and stay damp. Standing them separated lets them drain and dry, so a sheet you washed properly is still clean when you pick it up.
Q: Does it make the color system easier to use?
A: Considerably. Every color is visible and separate, so reaching for the right one takes no thought and reaching for the wrong one is obvious.
Q: Is stainless steel necessary?
A: In a kitchen, yes. It cleans to the same standard as the surfaces around it and it survives the environment. It is NSF certified to NSF/ANSI 2.
Q: Where is the best place to mount it?
A: Near the board it serves, at a height you can reach comfortably with one hand. Large sheets are awkward when wet, so a holder mounted too high is a nuisance every time.
Q: Can I mount it anywhere?
A: It needs a wall that will take the fixings. Check what is behind the surface first, particularly on tiled or clad walls.
Q: Is there a version that does not need a wall?
A: Yes, a table-top holder that stands on the counter, for islands and for kitchens where drilling is not an option.
